The Quality & Safety Management System complies fully with the following International Standards:

  • ISO 9001:2000 (ie. Quality Systems - Model for Quality Assurance in Production, Installation and Servicing); and
  • The ISM Code (ie. The International Code for the Safe Operation of Ships and for Pollution Prevention).

The Company gained Certification to ISO 9002 and The ISM Code (Document of Compliance) after being audited by the American Bureau of Shipping and the Australian Maritime Safety Authority in March 1998.

In October 1999 the company was assessed by AJA EQS and registered against the requirements of BS EN ISO 9002: 1994 / AS/NZS ISO 9002 in October 1999.

In May 2002, TMS made the transition to the new standard and was re-certified to BS EN ISO9001:2000 requirements including the International Safety Management (ISM) Code.
